Q&A - Self Interview
How would you give me a quick summary of urself?
Well ive been raised in Cypress California. Pretty much born into the water. Did a lot of surfing. During the day if i wasnt at the beach i was bmx riding. Hidden Valley, Twin Palms, Forest, Vans, etc. Ive been to a lot of place's to ride my bike. On weekends and if i could get any chance to help my dad in the garage building something radical, thats where my pation was. Loved getting dirty, grinding, cutting, welding, fabrication, paint and body work, etc. Building nhra cars, trophy trucks, rock crawlers, drift cars, pretty much anyone who was ment to go fast, we made them faster. It wasnt till 1996 where we finally got the land in Riverside California, and i finally was able to get into my long time dream of riding dirt bikes.Ive had many bikes, but nothing compared to what i had as my first bike (1984 honda cr 500. i was 13 riding this bike after i restored it.) and my most recent bikes(2005 ktm 525sx) and(2002 xr650r) I started riding when i was 13. At the time i was riding down hill mountain bikeing on my Chumba Wumba. Just wasnt fast enough. Loved jumping but hated Hiking and Climbing up mountains all day. So i started pursueing desert riding more. I have the urge to go fast. I want to some day be the fastest man on a dirtbike in a race, holding a MPH of 130 in the desert. Im already going wide open on this 2002 HONDA XR650R, and its scary with no stabilizer on it. Im always modifieing everything and finding ways to go faster. I dont trust shops. Im my own mechanic. I work on everything my self, never takin anything to a shop to own, never went to school for training, dont need it. The truths is, you got to spend money to go fast. Im hoping to get back into racing again. Maybe district next year, and BITD. Vegas to Reno is deffinitly one to take on. Especially when ur riding along side a trophy truck when they passs you doing 130mph. WOOH, thats scary. But its all in fun. Im always pushing my self to get better, and im willing to risk alot to be competetive. Its gotten harder over the last 2 years to beable to ride now that ive had my son. But hes taking a likeing to everything i do. Ive shown him a few more sports ive picked up on in the last few years and its drifting, wakeboarding, and snowboarding. I see alot of my self in him, and im glad to get him started much earlier then i was. Most of all i love spending the time doing what we both love together.
