Hey Everyone,

We finally got to have a race this season. It was the Famed Iron Dog for kids the Iron Pup.
like the Iron Dog the Iron Pup is a cross country race with partner (parent) going from checkpoint to checkpoint, 3 one mile laps.Anthony and partner (dad) placed 4th out of 11 teams. We only crashed one time, Anthony hit a berm he did not see (flat light) he got back on and put on some pressure on the team in front.
All in all a great day of riding.

Hey everyone,

Anthony's Monster Energy sled is on display at the Alaska Motor Mushers & Wasilla Racing Lions booth at the Oxygen & Octane show in the new convention center in Anchorage. He and I will be doing a seminar about racing 120's to try to get more kids involved in racing.

"BEAST" my champ 120 race sled!!!!!

Well, Anthony broke three fingers on his right hand on 4/9/08, 2 days before we left for the 08 Arcticman races. We still went and gave some support to our race friends, and we got to meet Paul Thacker Anthony's fellow Alaskan and Monster Energy and Slednecks Rider and world record holder for long distance snogo jump, Anthony was pumped. Hopfully Anthony will get his cast off in time for the last race of the season in Alyeska on may 2nd.

Well we finally had our first race of the season out at "Harry's Track" ,What a great day of racing. Anthony's first heat he got a little out of control in some dozer ruts and crashed in the woops, and got right up and back on to finish 5th. Heat #2 went much better and finished 4th. Heat #3 he got a better feel for the track and he got 3rd. Overall a great first race and we got to see old friends and made some new ones. Well time to tune-up and get ready for next weekend.

Dear Sponsor,

My name is Anthony Winsor and I am 6 years old and a 4th generation Alaskan.  I live in Anchorage and am in 1st grade.  In the summer I play soccer and ride my 4-wheeler.  During the winter I love to race my snow machine.  My parents are Tony and Celeste Winsor.

Last year I started racing a 120 stock snow machine with the Alaska Motors Musher Club and the Wasilla Racing Lions.  We raced in Anchorage, Wasilla, Valdez, and at the Girdwood extreme weekend in the spring.  During the 2006-2007 season, I took 5th in state, 5th in Wasilla Racing Lions, and 5th in AMMC out of a field of 17-22 riders.

Like most sports, there are a lot of expenses involved.  There are annual fees, entry fees, travel fees, gas, lodging, gear, and equipment.  In order to reach my goals, I am looking for your assistance.  With your advertising sponsorship, I will put your logo on my snow machine, trailer and gear and give verbal recognition at all podium placements throughout the state. Your company name and logo will also go on my website with a link to your company website.  I am committed to representing your company’s good name with the utmost respect that you as a sponsor expect and deserve.

My goals for this season are to make podium placements at each race and promote good sportsmanship and competitiveness.   I am so excited for this upcoming season of racing.  I got a new Polaris 120 Dragon from one of my sponsors, McKinley Polaris and can’t wait to get it out on the track! With new gear from my other sponsors Slednecks, Monster Energy, Amsoil, Smith Optics, Moto Grips and Six Six One, I feel that this year, with my experience, a new sled, Dad’s technical assistance, and your support we can make this a winning season.

I thank you for your consideration to support the next generation of snow machine racers.

Sincerely,

AnthonyWinsor                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Type in address below to visit Anthony’s web page     http://sponsorhouse.loopd.com/Members/anthonywinsor/Default.aspx
